TREVOR EXLINE
OWNER + FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH
Trevor has been deeply involved in athletics throughout his life. In high school, he was a standout three-sport athlete, contributing to two basketball conference championships and earning recognition as the 1A Nevada State Player of the Year twice. He went on to play Division II basketball, where he was honored with 1st Team All-Conference and All-American accolades.
After college, Trevor pursued a brief professional basketball career in Germany before deciding to transition to a new phase in his life. Seeking a new challenge, he explored traditional weightlifting and men's leagues, but ultimately felt unfulfilled until discovering Functional Strength & Conditioning in 2008. Functional Strength & Conditioning reignited his competitive spirit, offering both a mental and physical challenge that he found deeply satisfying.
Trevor is passionate about the sense of camaraderie and mutual respect that develops within a community that sweats together. He believes that strength and conditioning not only enhances physical fitness but also transforms an individual’s mindset, building confidence and resilience through daily challenges.
In addition to years of experience in weightlifting and plyometrics, Trevor is a certified trainer with multiple specialty certifications, including Gymnastics, Mobility, Kids, Conjugate Powerlifting, USA Weightlifting, and Advanced Weightlifting. He is also an OSAA-certified coach and holds K-12 teaching credentials.
Outside of the gym, Trevor and his wife, Bethany, enjoy watching their sons play football and basketball. Proudly supporting their athletic journeys, Trevor and Bethany make it a priority to attend their games and cheer them on from the sidelines.
Beyond sports, Trevor treasures spending quality time with his family. Whether it's at home or traveling, you can often find Trevor fostering strong bonds and creating meaningful memories with those he holds close.
