CHRISSY LAIRD
FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH
Chrissy came into the fitness world in 2012 after her oldest son was born. She knew she wanted something different than what she had known in her current life and wanted to get healthy and fit and be a strong mom. She stumbled into a Crossfit gym and had a life changing experience, and has been going strong ever since. After several years of competitive training, Chrissy got her CrossFit L1 certificate, and several years later achieved her certificate in CrossFit Kids.
Chrissy is passionate about helping people find their own way through their fitness journey, teaching teens and adults how to set goals, know when to push, know when to listen to your body, and overall encouraging consistency over time to get where you want to be. Additionally, Chrissy is a fanatic about new data coming out regarding nutrition, supplements, and recovery tools.
Outside of the gym Chrissy is a Medical Laboratory Scientist by day, and enjoys Olympic weightlifting, cycling, swimming, jiujitsu, taekwondo, and being a mom to four kids.
What Chrissy loves about BCF is it is a strong community of strong individuals coming together to get sweaty and get after their goals. The inviting nature of this place is what will keep you coming and reaching your fitness goals!
